Doug Mooney has been with SC² since 1998 and has been in the role of Vice President of Human Resources since October of 2004.  While in this position he has been an integral part of many projects, most notably the conversion from paper-based timecards to electronic data collection.  In addition to Human Resources, Doug is also responsible for company-wide Safety programs, incentives, and awareness.   

The easy camaraderie Doug establishes when speaking to our employees may be attributed to his Illinois State University Bachelors degree in Education as well as his strong teaching background.  

Prior to his role as Vice President, Doug worked as a Division Manager for Dealer Returns.

As a representative of Human Resources, Doug knows the importance of keeping employee owners involved when making decisions.  “I think being an employee owner gives you a sense of team play.  In working with and talking to other employee owners on a daily basis, I realize that most, if not all, really want the best for the company.  Many of the decisions I make have a direct impact on our owners, so it is very important for me to get their opinions.  They know that their questions will be answered, and their concerns will be listened to.”  

Doug is very active in the community, volunteering with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization as well as being actively involved in the IVC Athletic Boosters Club.
