Kurt Wolf is SC2’s Vice President over our Paint Operations.  He began working at SC2 in July of 1989 as a plant manager for the newly opened Industrial Finishing Division in Peoria, Illinois.  He then moved into the position of Safety Director in order to establish a safety program for the company and eventually, that position added Human Resources as an additional area of responsibility.  At present, Kurt is responsible for the large parts finishing division and industrial finishing division.  He is also responsible for quoting new work and maintaining customer relations. 

Kurt’s achievements at SC2 include designing and overseeing the installation of a second finishing line in East Peoria, Illinois that allows us to paint large, heavy parts for our customers utilizing cutting-edge technologies to keep us ahead of our competition. Kurt was also a key component in receiving our ISO 9001-2000 quality system registration.

With an Accounting and Business degree, as well as over 30 years experience in the paint industry, Kurt Wolf is a valuable asset to the SC2 family.  Prior to SC2, Kurt was responsible for multiple store operations, outside sales, and customer relations for a paint company. 

Kurt acknowledges that employee ownership affects his day-to-day decisions by stating, “All employee owners have the responsibility to keep the best interest of SC2 in mind in all decisions they make in their job.  Everyone can make a mistake but as long as you make your decisions based on the premise that what you do is in the best interest of SC2 you can never be wrong.  We are a team that has functioned well for years and we are adding new members every year.  This just makes us stronger and in better shape as we continue to grow and prosper.”
