SC2 values all our partners and provides the following communication as it relates to our operations and COVID-19 Pandemic.
SC2 EXEMPT FROM SHELTER-IN-PLACE ORDER
With regards to the Illinois Governor’s “Shelter-in-Place” mandate made on Friday, March 20th, SC2 was granted an exemption as an extension of our essential business customers. Among the provisions in the shelter-in-place order is one that allows for businesses to remain open if they’re involved in the manufacture, distribution, and supply chain for critical products and industries. Agriculture, construction, and mining are listed among those industries. We do not take the threat of COVID-19 casually; every safety practice and sanitation method we have available to us has been implemented.
We are proud to be able to offer our services our customers should you need support while other vendors are closed. Please let us know how SC2 can help in these unprecedented times.
Your Safety Is Important
The well-being of our employees and customers is the top priority for us at SC2. With concerns about the Coronavirus, we are taking steps to help protect the health and safety of our customers and employees while continuing to provide you the best possible service.
Increased hygiene and cleaning practices – Janitorial crews have increased their cleaning routines and are instructed to sanitize all hard surfaces, including frequently used equipment. Hand sanitizers were installed at SC2 facilities to increase accessibility to personal hygiene practices. Social distancing and personal hygiene recommendations from the World Health Organization are being enforced.
No outside visitors – Our doors, at every facility, are closed to outside visitors and tours, and all “non-essential” face-to-face meetings are postponed. Employees are being asked to conduct meetings virtually from their phones and computers. Our sales representatives are available via phone call, email, or video conferencing.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will make additional adjustments as needs arise. Rest assured, we are putting measures in place to help take care of our employees so they can continue to serve our customers best.
We thank you for your understanding and your dedication to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
